Sognefjord Hotel

The rooms are medium sized and decorated in fresh and attractive Scandinavian style. Most have wood laminate floors and all breathtaking views. Both the rooms and the modern bathrooms are in very good condition. The restaurant is a huge room on the first floor. It is decorated in simple traditional style and windows the length of both walls afford diners lovely views up and down the fjord. The Sognefjord is a rather plain modern hotel surrounded by pretty gardens. Lobby is small with a comfortable seating area. This hotel's worst aspect is its rather plain exterior which is more than made up for by its fine rooms, excellent food and stunning yet practical location. Please note the restaurant will be not be serving dinner from January until the end of April 2012. However, they will be able to provide some snacks / simple meals such as sandwiches.
